The Secret Garden was formed in 2017 and started off as a small outdoor terrace. Over the years we have developed it, first by building a bar to become Nottingham’s first outdoor only Cocktail bar. Over the years we have invested into the venue, adding heaters and a retractable roof. In 2023 we nearly doubled the space and have since built a second bar.

In the day time and some evenings, we function as a high end cocktail and beer garden. We offer a table service experience for cocktails meaning you don’t even need to leave your seat. In the summer on Saturdays we bring a DJ into the day to give it a bit more of a party vibe.

In 2021 we started doing DJ based music events in the evenings. Our space is unique as unlike any other venues it is completely outdoors. It is also fully heated and covered. When in ‘Event mode’ it would be best described as an outdoor festival experience; it’s not like any normal nightclub. We have built an immensely popular event reputation over the last 3 years. The fact that the venue is fully heated and covered means it’s an event space that can function at all year round.

When the roofs retract in Summer it also means that there is a real outdoor experience when it’s warm.

Secret Garden is a unique city centre outdoor venue that boasts the only venue of its kind in the city centre radius. It is unique because the experience we can offer is not available anywhere else.

Since 2021, we have transformed The Garden into a dedicated event space, thoughtfully designed to host headline performances, themed events, private functions, and community gatherings. BIRTHDAY EVENTS

We also make The Garden available for private hire, offering a unique and versatile setting for a wide range of events including corporate functions, celebrations, brand activations, and more. All private bookings are subject to availability and tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

SPORTING EVENTS
